Rewards for Justice is offering a reward of up to $5 million for information on the kidnapping and murder of Peter Kilburn. Kilburn was a librarian at the American University of Beirut. On December 3, 1984, he was reported missing. Sixteen months later, his body was found along with those of two other captives. The victims had been shot and then dumped in the mountains east of Beirut. Kilburn was among the 100 victims, mostly Westerners, whom Hizballah and Hizballah-linked terrorists kidnapped and held hostage during the decade-long Lebanon hostage crisis.
