Ahmed Abu Khatallah (Convicted)

2012 Murder of Four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador, Benghazi, Libya.

RFJ paid a $3 million reward to an individual who provided information that led to the arrest and conviction of terrorist leader Ahmed Abu Khatallah, mastermind of the 2012 attack on the U.S. Special Mission in Benghazi, Libya that killed four Americans, including a U.S. ambassador.  

Using information provided by the source, Khatallah was captured June 15, 2014 in Libya and brought to the United States to stand trial. On November 28, 2017, he was found guilty on charges related to the attack, and on June 27, 2018, he was sentenced to 22 years in prison. RFJ maintains a reward offer of up to $10 million for information that brings to justice other individuals responsible for the attack in Benghazi.
