About

The now-defunct 15 May Organization terrorist group was formed in 1979. The group sought to promote the Palestinian cause by killing Israeli and U.S. citizens and by causing damage to Israeli and American interests around the world. The 15 May Organization claimed responsibility for several attacks, including the August 1982 bombing of Pan Am Flight 830 that killed a 16-year-old passenger and wounded 16 others.
