Ayyash \u00e9 um agente s\u00eanior da Unidade 121 do Hezbollah, o esquadr\u00e3o de assassinato do grupo terrorista, e recebe ordens diretamente do secret\u00e1rio-geral do Hezbollah, Hasan Nasrallah. Ayyash \u00e9 conhecido por estar envolvido em esfor\u00e7os para atacar os militares dos EUA.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Em 11 de dezembro de 2020, um tribunal internacional condenou Ayyash \u00e0 revelia a cinco senten\u00e7as de pris\u00e3o perp\u00e9tua simult\u00e2neas por acusa\u00e7\u00f5es relacionadas a terrorismo e ligadas ao atentado suicida de Beirute em fevereiro de 2005, que matou o ex-primeiro-ministro do L\u00edbano, Rafik Hariri. O ataque tamb\u00e9m matou outras 21 pessoas e feriu 226. O tribunal descobriu que Ayyash liderou a equipe de assassinos que executou o ataque a Hariri.
