Em 1\u00ba de mar\u00e7o de 1999, membros do Ex\u00e9rcito para a Liberta\u00e7\u00e3o de Ruanda (ALiR, na sigla oficial em franc\u00eas) atacaram turistas desarmados e seus guias no Parque Nacional Impenetr\u00e1vel de Bwindi, em Uganda. O grupo de turistas foi agredido, feito ref\u00e9m e for\u00e7ado a marchar em dire\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 Rep\u00fablica Democr\u00e1tica do Congo. Um ugandense, Paul Ross Wagaba, foi queimado vivo. Oito das v\u00edtimas, incluindo os estadunidenses Susan Miller e Robert Haubner, foram espancados at\u00e9 a morte.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
