Em 29 de setembro de 2009, na Ilha Jolo, Filipinas, um dispositivo explosivo da FMLN foi colocado em um comboio de ve\u00edculos militares. A explos\u00e3o matou dois soldados do Ex\u00e9rcito dos EUA e um soldado das For\u00e7as Armadas das Filipinas. As v\u00edtimas faziam parte de uma miss\u00e3o humanit\u00e1ria para construir uma escola.
