Rewards for Justice is offering a reward of up to $5 million for information on Muhammad Abdullah Khalil Hussain ar-Rahayyal, also known as Khalil Antwan Iwan and Khalil Alid. Ar-Rahayyal, an alleged member of the Abu Nidal Organization terrorist group, is wanted for his role in the September 5, 1986 hijacking of Pan Am Flight 73 in Karachi, Pakistan. After holding 379 passengers and crew hostage for nearly 16 hours, the hijackers began shooting indiscriminately. Twenty people, including two Americans, were killed and more than 100 were injured.
For his role in the hijacking, ar-Rahayyal was indicted by a U.S. federal grand jury and is on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists List. Ar-Rahayyal likely resides in the Middle East.
