Boussoura is an al-Qaida (AQ)-trained operative with declared intentions of becoming a suicide bomber. He has extensive connections to radical Islamic extremists and is an associate of Tunisian AQ terror suspect Abderraouf Jdey.

Boussora left his native Tunisia in 1988 and moved to France. He departed France in 1991 and immigrated to Montreal, Canada, traveling back and forth from Canada to Tunisia frequently during the 1990s. Boussora gained Canadian citizenship in 1999. That same year, Boussora departed Canada for Afghanistan, where he received terrorist training from AQ. Boussora subsequently returned to Canada. His whereabouts are currently unknown.

Authorities remain concerned that Boussora may return to Canada or the United States to plan or participate in a terrorist attack. He may suffer from a serious illness and could be in extremely poor health, resulting in weight loss and altered physical appearance.
