Hamiyah est le chef de l’Organisation de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ext\u00e9rieure (External Security Organization, ESO) du Hezbollah, qui g\u00e8re des cellules organis\u00e9es dans le monde entier. L’ESO est l’\u00e9l\u00e9ment du Hezbollah responsable de la planification, de la coordination et de l’ex\u00e9cution des attaques terroristes en dehors du Liban. Ces attaques ont principalement vis\u00e9 des Isra\u00e9liens et des Am\u00e9ricains. <\/p>\n\n
Le 13 septembre 2012, le d\u00e9partement du Tr\u00e9sor des \u00c9tats-Unis a d\u00e9sign\u00e9 Hamiyah comme un Terroriste Mondial Sp\u00e9cialement D\u00e9sign\u00e9 en vertu de l’Ordre Ex\u00e9cutif 13224, tel qu’amend\u00e9, pour avoir fourni un soutien aux activit\u00e9s terroristes du Hezbollah au Moyen-Orient et dans le monde entier. En raison de cette d\u00e9signation, entre autres cons\u00e9quences, tous les biens et int\u00e9r\u00eats sur les biens de Hamiyah soumis \u00e0 la juridiction des \u00c9tats-Unis sont bloqu\u00e9s, et il est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement interdit aux personnes am\u00e9ricaines d’effectuer des transactions avec Hamiyah.
