R\u00e9compenses pour la Justice offre une r\u00e9compense de jusqu’\u00e0 5 millions de dollars pour toute information sur Faruq al-Suri, \u00e9galement connu sous le nom de Samir Hijazi ou Abu Hammam al-Shami. Al-Suri est le chef de l’organisation terroriste Hurras al-Din (HAD) et un membre chevronn\u00e9 d’Al-Qaida (AQ).<\/p>\n\n
Al-Suri \u00e9tait un formateur paramilitaire de haut niveau aupr\u00e8s du chef d’AQ Sayf al-Adl en Afghanistan dans les ann\u00e9es 1990, et il a \u00e9galement form\u00e9 des combattants d’AQ en Irak de 2003 \u00e0 2005. Al-Suri a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment d\u00e9tenu au Liban de 2009 \u00e0 2013 et est ensuite devenu le commandant militaire du Front Al-Nosra (Al-Nusrah Front, ANF). Il a quitt\u00e9 le ANF en 2016.<\/p>\n\n
Le 10 septembre 2019, le D\u00e9partement d’\u00c9tat des \u00c9tats-Unis a d\u00e9sign\u00e9 al-Suri comme un Terroriste Mondial Sp\u00e9cialement D\u00e9sign\u00e9 en vertu de l’Ordre Ex\u00e9cutif 13224, tel que modifi\u00e9.
