Agent sp\u00e9cial du FBI \u00e0 la retraite, Levinson a disparu lors d’un voyage d’affaires sur l’\u00eele de Kish, en Iran, le 9 mars 2007. Levinson avait pris sa retraite du FBI en 1998 et travaillait comme d\u00e9tective priv\u00e9 au moment de sa disparition.<\/p>\n\n
En d\u00e9cembre 2020, le D\u00e9partement du Tr\u00e9sor des \u00c9tats-Unis a sanctionn\u00e9 deux hauts fonctionnaires iraniens, Mohammad Baseri et Ahmad Khazai, pour leur implication dans l’enl\u00e8vement de Levinson.
