Le 5 janvier 2020, des terroristes d’al-Shabaab ont attaqu\u00e9 des agents kenyans et am\u00e9ricains \u00e0 l’a\u00e9rodrome de Manda Bay, au Kenya, tuant deux pilotes contractuels am\u00e9ricains et un sp\u00e9cialiste de l’arm\u00e9e am\u00e9ricaine travaillant comme contr\u00f4leur de la circulation a\u00e9rienne. Un troisi\u00e8me contractuel am\u00e9ricain et deux autres militaires am\u00e9ricains ont \u00e9t\u00e9 bless\u00e9s dans l’attaque.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Maalim Ayman \u00e9tait responsable de la pr\u00e9paration de l’attentat de janvier 2020. En novembre 2020, le D\u00e9partement d’\u00c9tat a d\u00e9sign\u00e9 Ayman comme terroriste mondial sp\u00e9cialement d\u00e9sign\u00e9 (SDGT) en vertu du d\u00e9cret ex\u00e9cutif (E.O.) 13224, tel que modifi\u00e9.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
